Plaza Mayor

Watching the Spain national team woop up on Venezuela this afternoon brought me back to my time spent in that wonderful country. So, on the way home from work (yea, you got that right, I watch the game at work), I dug deep in the itunes library and found some great tunes I used to frequent during those times. This could go well….or it could go real bad. And yea, watch our for some of the advertisements on these links, they can get kind of dicey…unless your Mr. Botsford and like that sort of thing…

Juan Magan – Mariah (Extended Mix)
Inna – Deja Vu (2009)

Bonus: This is not from my time en Espana but it always reminds me of it
Ferruccio Salvo, R3hab – Keep Up For Your Love (Club Mix)

Oh, and USA soccer won today too, 1-0 vs Italy. Nice job boys.

I was browsing through my Soundcloud dashboard before calling it a night and here are the results. No particular theme here, just a mezcla of stuff I enjoyed.

Madeon – Icarus***
Astrolabe – Cave Disco (Discotexas Edit)*
Haley VS. Deadmau5 – Falling In Love With Brazil (Kaskade Mashup)*
Léopold – Miami Disco On (Hana Yori Kichou Na ‘Nuit Blanche À Miami’ Remix)**

In da Boof

Fresh new track from this week’s episode of Tiesto’s Club life.

The Naked and Famous – No Way (Disfunktion Bootleg)
“When the daylight comes
Do you feel it?
Leave your bag of bones
Underneath your bed
Everything is as
It should be
I’m leaving now
As I should be”

Also, if you haven’t seen any episodes of Tiesto’s new weekly documentary, In The Booth, be sure to check out his youtube page at Here are the two most recent episode which follow the superstar on a mini European tour and his Canadian tour.

Home of the Brave

Happy Presidents Day from the Fondue Fam.
Here’s to hoping you “seize the day” off. Also a great chance to remember our troops that don’t have the same leisure. This past weekend was a wild one with Adventure Club and Big Gigantic bringing the “whoomp” and sax to D.C.

In keeping the good times rolling…here’s some Adventure Club remixes I fancy:

Temper Trap – Love Lost (Adventure Club remix)

Foxes – Youth (Adventure Club remix)

Metric – Collect All (Adventure Club remix)

Fired up for Scrap and the boys to come visit this weekend. I found these songs on another blog I follow and liked them so much I had to re-post. ENJOY

Pistol’s Neck of the Woods

Can’t wait to see some of y’all up in NYC this weekend. It’s been a while since I made the journey to the big city. I heard Butterfield 8 on Saturday night? Somebody said a couple rowdy kids be working behind the bar? See y’all there.

Here are a couple choice numbers from dBerrie. These have been getting press on a lot of different blogs lately and for good reason. Hope you enjoy.

Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (dBerrie Remix) ****February Favorite so far
dBerrie & Carlos Cid ft. Collin – Change The Light (Extended Mix) ***Great piano riffs….I really like this one.

Sometimes people come up to me and say “Carter, whats with all that dubstep crap? Stuff sounds terrible.” I say, “Yeah, it can be a little overwhelming sometimes. You have to be in the right mood for it, but when you are, it’s amazing.” They say, “Really, I just don’t think I could ever get into it.” I say, “Have you ever listened to OVERWERK? He may change you mind…”

Mac Graham – Midnight (OVERWERK Remix) Sir Teez**
Ford Fustang – Magic Trooper (OVERWERK Remix) Had this one in my itunes and totally forgot about it, great find!
Flight of the Conchords – Too Many Dicks (OVERWERK Remix)

Use Your Imagination

If you haven’t seen the newest Sports Illustrated, you might have missed newcomer Kate Upton in her painted bikini. Sports Illustrated calls her the “new rookie”, but she’s MVP in my book. You’ll have to find the painted bikini pics on your own time, but for now, I leave you with this shot and some be-bop from Bag Raiders. By the way…she’s 19.

Bag Raiders – Shooting Stars
