Progressive Era

Now this is my kind of music. Pure progressive goodness from Jeremy Olander, the man some like to refer to as “Baby Pryda.” He has signed on to Pryda’s record label and has a similar style of melodic progressive. These tunes are perfect for late night antics, the gym, or in my case, as soon as I get up in the morning…just joshin…that would be downright scary.

Volume up folks!

Tracks of All My Dreams

“Marylou was a pretty blonde with immense ringlets of hair like a sea of golden tresses; she sat there on the edge of the couch with her hands hanging in her lap and her smoky blue country eyes fixed in a wide stare because she was in an evil gray New York pad that she’d heard about back West, and waiting like a longbodied emaciated Modigliani surrealist woman in a serious room… That night we all drank beer an pulled wrists and talked till dawn, and in the morning, we sat around dumbly smoking butts from ashtrays in the gray light of a gloomy day” – On The Road [pp. 2]  Jack Kerouac

Phenomenal remixes of a throwback Robbie Rivera song from college years. Brings me back…

Robbie Rivera – Back to Zero (Juicy Miami Vocal Mix) *most well known version

Robbie Rivera – Back to Zero (Fonzerelli Remix) *personal favorite

Robbie Rivera – Back to Zero (Alex Garcia Edit)

Robbie Rivera – Back to Zero (George Acosta Remix)

“Here’s a message to the new borns, waiting to breath.”

I’ve had this one on repeat ever since I heard it this afternoon. You’ll see why. Capital Cities adds a groovy spin to Pink Floyd’s “Breath” but Tupac steals the show.

Capital Cities ft. Tupac Shakur – “Breathe (Pink Floyd Cover) Via BGB

“If we really are saying that rap is an art form, then we got to be more responsible for our lyrics. If you see everybody dying because of what you are saying, it don’t matter that you didn’t make them die. It just matters that you didn’t save them.” -Tupac Shakur
