New Favorites

A couple great songs by Pierce Fulton, a 19 year old student at the University of Vermont. He has a very unique style that I think many will enjoy. Gives these a listen.
Tommy Trash vs. David Tort – Carry Jack Home (Pierce Fulton\’s Silly Operation)
Pierce Fulton – Smiles All Around (Original Mix)

This has been my favorite track of the past couple weeks…You cannot go wrong with Avicii. Great slow build-up to 2:19 mins. Boom.
Avicii ft. Yolanda Selini- Don\’t Give Up On Us (Enough is Enough)

More RAC

The guys over at HitThisJeffrey posted some great tracks by RAC (Remix Artist Collective) so I decided to share them all with you to go along with the Phoenix remix I posted yesterday. Hope y’all enjoy!

Tokyo Police Club – Wait Up (Boots of Danger) (RAC Remix) my favorite of the bunch
John Legend – Everybody Knows (RAC Remix)
Theophilus London – Why Even Try (RAC Remix)

As a bonus, here is a video of Rodrigo and Gabriella playing their hit song “Tamacun.” Gearhart, I hope this gives you some inspiration while you introduce us to the new generation of Fondue. Can’t wait.

Cville Bound

Looking forward to a rowdy weekend in Cville in celebration of Slime and Cathy tying the knot. For those of you who will be there, lets do it big. I’m talking breaking into Uncle Tony’s Dancehall, College Inn late-night, and re-enacting 4th year 1/5 at Skank’s Palace. My ETA is late afternoon on Friday. See y’all there.

Phoenix – Armistice (RAC Remix)
Body Language – Social Studies (Plastic Plates Remix)
Jacques Renault – Look At You (GRVRBBRS Re-work)

Gramatik

Slovenian producer, Gramatik, recently joined the Pretty Lights record label and released a new album under said label entitled “Beatz & Pieces Vol. 1” I have been listening to the album all week and really enjoy his hip-hop sound. Very similar to early Pretty Lights, Gramatik mixes many different genres of music including Soul, Funk, and Jazz. Here are a few highlights from the new album. To download it in full, check out Pretty Light’s website.

Gramatik – Skylight
Gramatik – While I was Playing Fair
Gramatik – Break Loose

This last one is not on the new album but is really solid:
Stairway to Hip-Hop (Gramatik Remix)

HBO Sundays

Besides being a day off from work, the best thing about Sundays is HBO, and now that Curb is starting this weekend followed by Entourage later this month, it’s going down. Here are some songs inspired by that glorious day of late-night television. Turn em up, and say goodbye to the “Sunday Scaries.”

Many of you have probably seen the previews for the final season of Entourage. The theme song is pretty dope so I looked it up on the Internets…perfect for lounging out with a couple spliff guys.
The Weekend – High For This

So I started watching the 4th season of True Blood and all I have to say is it sucks (no pun intended, it really does suck). Anyways, Avicii took the theme song, well maybe just a snippet of it, and turned it into a dirty dirty house jam.
Avicii – Before This Night Is Through (Bad Things)

Last but by far not least, Curb. No theme song remixes here (although that could be hilarious), and everybody knows too well the “baa da na ba na na na.” So I decided to post one of my favorite Curb clips. Gee officer Krumpke, KRUMP YOU!

Scrappy Out

Wild Nicky on Da Birfday

Great time celebrating Pistol’s 25th last night. I’ll post some more pics/videos soon. Until then, enjoy your 4th of July shin digs and this little number from R3hab.

“Last night I don’t remember, last night I said I’d never,
Last night, what was I thinking, I really need to give up drinkin.
I’m not gon drink again, but who am I kiddin,
I’m bout to call my friends tonight and do it over again.”
Ian Carey feat. Snoop Dogg & Bobby Anthony – Last Night (R3hab Remix)
